San Antonio was able to enjoy an unusually mild winter but the heat has come in quickly! Because of the extreme heat we have in San Antonio, it is important to take extra precautions with your vehicle. While there are a number of systems affected by the heat on your vehicle, this month we are focusing on four specific concerns. Keep your engine cool: Make sure the cooling system is flushed and the coolant replaced periodically as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. Inspect hoses and drive belts for cracking, soft spots or other signs of poor condition. Worn parts are more susceptible to failure in hot conditions and should be replaced.
