San Antonio and Boerne Auto Repair

My car limped into San Antonio between Christmas and New Year's making terrible noises and shaking. In spite of the holiday rush, they were able to work me in and get a major repair diagnosed and repaired in time for me to get back to New Mexico on schedule and at a reasonable price. Carl was great; he kept me informed every step of the way. I have family that has newly moved to San Antonio, and I am recommending that they use Belden's for their automotive service.

I wasn't very happy the last time I was here but this place has redeemed itself with a free oil change when I needed it :) good job guys!!!!!

Friendly service and staff.....BUT that does not fix cars!! Spent $103.30 on a BAD DIAGNOSIS! Didn't offer to fix it after I called to let them know they missed the problem! What I saw was a lot of icing and no cake!

I first came here because of the convenience in location, it's on my way to work. I also saw they have Ladies Day where they offer 10% off, unfortunately It wasn't the day I came! The staff was very knowledgable & friendly. As a new resident of Texas I had plenty of questions regarding registration, inspection & licensing. They gave me all the answers I'd had trouble hunting down on the internet. I waited a bit longer than at those drive thru oil change places but was offered coffee & watched the Price Is Right for the first time since I was a little girl :) I'll be back & I was happy to find out they also have a shuttle service. A+

Belden's Automotive is not only overly expensive, but they try to make you get repairs where you do not need them. They told me I needed new front wheel bearings, so I got a second and third opinion. At the two places I went to, I was told nothing was wrong with ANY of the wheel bearings. Belden's wanted $1100 to replace the front wheel bearings even though nothing was wrong with them. Do not come here, these guys are a ripoff, I am sure over half of the Google reviews are fake.

The prices for the parts used to repair my vehicle were marked up 200%-300%. I wouldn't be surprised to see Belden's on 60 minutes or one of those news programs for being a dishonest automotive service center. Save yourself the money and don't go!

My car was DOA, I had already taken it to a competitor that said it couldn't be repaired and that I should take the money and put it towards a new car! Firestone said it was either a blown head gasket or a cracked head. I decided to just drive it until it quit which was a bad idea. The water pump was bad, and it finally gave up the ghost completely. This caused excess pressure causing the radiator to blow. I did a search for auto repair on google with the zip code of 78259 and Belden's Auto Repair came up which was right up the street. I called them and they said that they could look at it and give me a call when they found what was wrong. They also gave me a ride back to work so I could. This was on a Saturday morning. They called back and said I have some bad news.... I expected the worst, the head gasket or a cracked head. Instead the mechanic said that I would need a new radiator, water pump and thermostat. It ended up being costly but what auto repair isn't these days? The bottom line is they fixed it the same day even though they warned me that it might take til Monday due to the labor involved putting in a new radiator. I was pleasantly surprised when they got it done the same day and an hour earlier than their estimates. They made my car a priority and spared no manpower to get it done the same day. Their fast professional courteous service was refreshing in a business that is fraught with fly by night con artists. They really saved my bacon fixing the only vehicle I have. After the repair they even sent a car to pick me up to get my car. The cost was also a pleasant surprise also costing 30 dollars less than what they quoted. For this reason I give them 5 stars and will recommend them to all my friends. All this with a guarantee added icing on the cake! Bravo Belden Automotive, keep up the good work!
